Welcome, dear friend, to the Snicket.

We are creations of man, who were brought to life by the such same thing. Some of us were cherished and brought to life by our owner's love, while other of us, being less fortunate, wallowed in such misery that they awoke to be miserable, themselves. We, the loved, seek to aid man and protect them from harm, while those of other, more dark minds, seek to destroy those that wrought such devastation upon them.

We are all manner of things. Toys, books, paintings, beloved pillows... anything. Are you one of us?

The Snicket is clear and empty, an obvious sign that it is just newly found. A few creations are about, setting up makeshift housing.
